She unlocked the box by accident,
Was surprised by what’s inside;
She wished she never opened it,
Now haunted, hard to hide.
And even though she’s locked it again,
It’s not so easy to undo;
Struggle to crawl a way to escape,
To run away from what is true.
I love this poem so much. I has so much meaning in it and can be viewed in many different ways both literally and metaphorically. Well done!
