You made me see
A flawless beauty ~
A reason to see the sunshine,
To taste another glass of wine.
How do you know
if you are still alright?
If you are still fine,
if you are still on track of your line,
when all you see
and all you feel
is something you cannot understand;
I feel wrong,
maybe sad, or down, or tired,
and I can’t even say why;
It’s like the mystery of a prism,
or the darkness of the shadow —
the questions of light.
I get it. Others’ feelings aren’t your responsibility, but hey, haven’t you realized that we are all connected in a circle that never ends and in one way or another we really affect each other’s lives? (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.)
Last week, I binge-watched the series Thirteen Reasons Why. I’ve read a lot of reviews about it, both good and bad, inviting people to watch vs refraining people to watch it — I gave in to the former, because it was really intriguing and the theme really caught my attention. I won’t lose anything anyway, and it’s so easy to stop if ever I wouldn’t like what I was watching.
Her mind is a painted sunrise
With complex shades of ice and fire,
Surrounded by shadows as night dies,
Screaming whispers as it retires.
A beautiful mess of tangled thoughts,
Abstract scenes just like the sky;
Tossing and turning through the lots
Of every when and how and why.
Haunted by ghosts that never go away,
Feared by the unknown from the other side;
Disturbed by the truth of today,
Doomed by the lies in the wild.
