First of all, I would like to apologize for the low quality photo since I took this one all by myself (yes, self-timer it is, on HDR because our office is in low light). I haven’t posted an #OOTD post for a long time so I am keeping up a quick one since I’ve had #ootd realizations with this dress.
I bought this dress from F&F at Paseo De Santa Rosa (Laguna). I rarely like clothes in green shades, considering that I am morena and I might look like a tree, but this dress really caught me so much.
I have always thought that wearing knee-length skirts or dresses will make me look really short (I’m not tall, as in definitely NOT tall, FYI), but this dress proved me wrong. It looked like a tailored dress on me, and I love how the A-cut shape complimented my body edges and leg length. I paired it with a snake-skin styled brown belt, and my usual snake-skin styled two-inched heels office shoes which I bought from Milani at Landmark (Makati).
Now I know that with the right fit, mix-and-match and of course, confidence and comfort, a petite woman like me can actually rock a knee-length A-line dress. A good find indeed! 😉

During the APEC break (November 18-21), my family decided to have a quick North getaway. We left Manila Wednesday morning at around 5AM, had a lot of stopovers, and reached Vigan City at around 7:30PM. After eating dinner and enjoying Vigan’s night life, we decided to rest to continue our Ilocos adventure the next day.
It was really hot so I opted to wear sleeveless and shorts. I am most comfortable wearing shorts during long travels because it makes me really free to move.
Demins are always on track. For that day, I wore a black sleeveless top with a denim vest. I also paired them with my pink shorts for a girly but outgoing look.
I also used my Skechers Memory Foam footwear with pink shoe laces because aside from being a perfect match with the look that I wanted to achieve, it’s really good for long walks and long runs and I didn’t sacrifice comfort over style. I got the best of both worlds!
Here are our quick stops in Ilocos that you might want to visit when you get there:
1. Vigan’s Main City Plaza 2. Calle Crisologo ♥ 3. Baluarte Zoo 4. Paoay Lake 5. Paoay Church 6. Fort Ilocandia
Ilocos’ BAGNET and EMPANADA are must-try’s!
For long travels like this, you must have a good companion to take care of your things. Personally, I choose The North Face bags because there’s a variety of bags that you can choose from, depending on your needs. And guess what?Zalorahas them in store for you! You can buy bags fromThe North Face through Zalora and have them delivered right at your doorstep! Pretty much a click away for a great travel experience!
I can’t wait to visit Ilocos again, especially Vigan City. It’s a place that I would love to go back to again and again.
New York City has always been one of my dream destinations. The Big Apple is on my travel bucket list and I can’t wait for the day that I can post an Instagram photo with the caption “Touchdown NYC!”
This isn’t about New York City, though. I’ve read a lot about the city that doesn’t sleep, but I still can’t say much because I haven’t been there yet. (Someday soon, I promise.) However, here’s a quick outfit post that I sort of DIYed around three weeks ago (late post indeed).
It was a thrift shop find by my younger sister, but it was oversized to she just gave me this one. It had sleeves on it (I’m sorry I wasn’t able to take a photo of how it originally looked), and it really looked too big for me.
Since muscle tees are among the trends, I decided to cut the sleeves out and make my own. Though my Mom doesn’t allow me to wear this one for random go-to days (generation gap, hehe), at least I could wear it at home. Considering that Philippines is a tropical country, muscle tees will never go out of style.
And yes, it’s only a thrift shop find. 🙂 The statement on this tee inspires me, too! For now, it’s just a print. But someday soon, my “Have a very good morning, NYC!” will be for real! 😉
