As I begin with my countdown today, I am committing myself to this 30-day project dedicated to my home for two years, the Inquirer Group of Companies. I call this personal project #TINQ30, or Thank you, Inquirer – The Last 30 Days.

The moment I received an invitation to apply at the Inquirer Group, I did not hesitate. I was messaged via LinkedIn and sent my CV right away. I thought, during my I wanna be a Journalist years, Inquirer has always been my dream company. Maybe somehow, in one way or another, I was really destined for my dream company, but in another field. I wanted to have that pride — the Inquirer pride.

#TINQ30 Day 1
My original area at Inquirer – IGC Investments Office. Oh yes, I would miss the sunrise. 🙂

After an HR interview, interview with the manager, and panel interview with the executives, I was hired as Finance Analyst – PMA’s (Partnerships, Mergers & Acquisitions) – Investments Department. I was thrilled with the whole task, and as I got into my projects, I knew that it was what I have imagine myself doing.

I had the chance to directly talk to the CEO’s, CFO’s, COO’S and executives both internally and externally, and even though they had the impression that I looked young, I’m glad that I was able to pull off professional meetings at places like Dean & Deluca or Nikko’s Bakeshop.

I am really grateful for the opportunity that Inquirer has given me. I am happy for what Inquirer has made me become. Thank you, Inquirer!
